How the competition works:
Students will be broken up into teams of 10-12, all from different schools, to work on an assignment.  You’ll be assigned a sponsor, who will provide the materials, lunch, and a place to work (but no help) for teams to write a marketing plan, media plan, and creative—all in one day.  On Friday night,  the top three teams will have the opportunity to present their campaigns to the judges and the winner will be announced at the Saturday luncheon.

What you'll learn

1.  Teamwork
2.  Working under short deadlines (welcome to the real world!)
3.  Industry trends from professionals
4.  How to network with professionals (bring resumes for internships and full-time positions)

Seminars

On Saturday you will have the opportunity to hear from industry experts as they discuss the various positions within their organizations including job responsibilities and skill sets required for these positions.

Portfolio & Resume Review
Bring your portfolio or resume for review and comment by professionals.  Your book is the key to getting a job, and this is a chance to polish it before you pound the streets looking for gainful employment.
